Join in the first annual UCG Smoky Mountain Young Adult Retreat in Townsend, Tennessee.
May 24-27, 2024 Memorial Day Weekend

United Church of God young adults aged 18-34, single or married are welcome to attend.

We have reserved two large lodges [on the same property] - one for men and one for women, located on a beautiful and serene mountainside with spectacular views.

Both lodges have spacious upstairs and downstairs living space, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and large dining room.

On-property amenities: Basketball, volleyball, cornhole, board games and scenic hiking. One lodge has a private outdoor pool and both have a private outdoor hot tub. 

Reservations / Cost

There are limited beds in the lodges! We will require payment to reserve yours. Once the beds are full at the lodges, attendees will need to reserve their own housing nearby.

Details

  • Townsend, TN is at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, one of the few free national parks in the U.S. Townsend boasts delicious food and specialty shops. Fun activities such as horse-back riding, caverns, and river tubing are just a few minutes down the road from the cabin.  
  • What to Bring:
    Beach towel for the hot tub and pool. Swim Shoes for the river float, sunscreen and water bottle.
  • Check-In Address:
    Firefly Lodge: 1001 Cavern Road, Townsend, TN 37882
    Turn right (west) at stoplight #3 (Wears Valley Road) to Townsend (approximately 15 miles). At the “T” junction (at traffic light) turn right into Townsend.

  • What's in Townsend?
    Townsend has an IGA grocery store and a Dollar General, an ATM, great coffee shops, souvenir shops, and several great restaurants. The entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is 15 minutes away.

10am Group River Tube Float (gather at Firefly Lodge for final instructions before leaving)
